In a shocking twist of things, Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey that was recently revamped and the producers have brought in an entirely new character after the departure of the male lead and will conclude on the 6th of August. Manan Joshi – who was the first hero – was replaced for Ankit Bathla in the last few days. Naturally, Ankit who was on the show only a week ago is not happy with the direction the show has taken. Ankit says “My character was announced about 4 days back. This announcement has been surprise to me. It’s unfortunate. We’ve got a couple of days to shoot.”
The actor appeared on the show with high hopes. When we inquired about the possibility of KKIS closing in the near future, he dispelled the rumours. When discussing what could be described as his most brief stint on a daytime soap, he says, “The production team took around an hour during the appearance test to figure out my clothes. They provided me with more sophisticated outfits to revamp the look of KKIS. In the beginning, you think that it’s a shame since you don’t want anyone to think that he’s just joined the show and that the show is coming to an end.”
He says, “However, I spoke with the company’s representatives and they told me that if they had known, they couldn’t afford to invest in getting me on board. It’s like an instant decision. What I was thinking when they announced the announcement to me was what could possibly happen in such a short time? I’m just shooting the entry aur mera coiscene broadcast Bhi nahi Hua Hai.
The creators sat down with me and helped me comprehend the whole thing. We’ve taken this with our way. I would consider it to be an occupational risk. The actors don’t make these choices therefore, it’s not a good idea to complain or complain. Events happen for a reason and I’m certain that something greater and more rewarding is coming my way. However it, too, will be a memorable experience as it is likely to be the shortest time span for actors of all kinds.”
